HISTORY
Varsity Soccer at Dracut High School has come a long way since it's inception in the fall of 1994. The program turned around in 1996 with the arrival of Stacy Freda (Former standout at Keene State College). Unfortunately, Stacey left the program after one year to coach at Boston University.

Wayne Currie took over the program in the fall of 1997 and continued where Coach Freda had left off. Since then the program has build a tradition of excellence and pride. The program has won the conference championship in 1997 and 1998. They were runner's up in 1999.

Every year since 1997 Dracut High School has found it hard to field a Junior Varsity Program because of the lack of numbers coming from the Junior High.

As in all athletic programs at Dracut High School, the emphasis is providing a fun, enriching student athletic experience while maintaining high academic achievement.
Dracut High School Girls Soccer team plays an attack oriented style of soccer which is exciting and fun to watch, and improvement can be seen every year.
The team competes in the tough Merrimack Valley Conference. One of the best conferences in the state. Dracut plays against Andover, Billerica and Central Catholic teams that have traditionally ranked in the top 10 every year. Dracut plays non-conference games against Newburyport and Tynsboro. Two school that are very strong in Division III.
